If your minifigures ever hear the sound of the tribal drum, they should run as far away as possible. Otherwise they might end up being dinner for a friendly group of islanders!
The drum can also just be used as a nice musical instrument, but where's the fun in that?

Your minifigs will feel the jungle beats coming in the air with this fine piece. A bit tricky to hold but still fits perfectly on a stud.
Details on the drum are interesting, but not complex.
Base fits on any stud, so you can wear it as a hat! Has three protrusions around the sides that look like they could fit into open studs and minifig hands, but only one of them really does consistently. What looks like a handle does not work as a handle; minifig hands are too big to fit through the loop, and the loop isn't thick enough to be grabbed.
While disappointing that the site doesn't have the brown color in all the photos, this is a very nice set piece. I use it for voodoo doctors and fantasy shamans, but Native American minis could enjoy the beat also. It's a fun little extra that adds some spice to a figure.
