There has never been and probably never will be a minifig shield that is more awesome than this one. The plain, yet stylish design is fantastic; the size is perfect; and this shield is both functional and artful in design. The spike is great, and--contrary to my expectations, is not hollow. Rather, the back of the shield is one uniform disk. Overall, this shield is a great piece, and can be used for various types of minifigs.
