Ordered 10, all fit well in minifig hands and are good quality. It isn't clear in this description, but the handle for the shield has two poles to grip from the center (one horizontal, one vertical) like the old Lego triangle shields.
I think this piece (I got it in brown and black) looks very Lego-like. I still think I got a real Lego shield and I am glad I got it. Going to use it on some custom Chima characters I am working on.

This is simply a nice-looking piece. I grabbed some for my aboriginal tribesmen and my lizard-folk. Gives the impression of being primitive, yet stylish, and full-sized.
