Great work, when added to demon armor and wings and tail makes a great dragon general.
Seriously, these are great little molded heads, perfect for a variety of fantasy critters (or, if like me, you use them for playing tabletop games they also work as NPCs/monsters). The only issue I have with them is the lack of painted eyes, but that's easily fixed with some modeling paint, a small pointed brush, patience, and a bit of gloss varnish :D
It will appear a bit more matte plastic when you actually get it (we've gotten two different colors now), but it is awesome nonetheless.
When I'm purchasing these there are currently not very many colors available. I'd love to see them restock all the colors they have listed and maybe more. I use LEGO minis for my D&D campaign and these make great dragonborn and half dragons but they need more colors. Some more metalic colors like silver and copper as well as white and green would be great additions or restock options. Overall great product!
I agree with some other reviewers that this piece is nice as it's crafted, but it really needs splashes of color to be most useful. I paint Legos, so I can add eye color and teeth enamels, but for those who don't paint, the figure just looks a bit odd being all one color. It does make a nice decoration, though, as furniture or sculpture or what have ya.
One thing about BW product photos is that for some reason, up-close pictures show grainy pieces - yet like everyone experiences when they open the package, the two I ordered were beautiful and smooth. I agree, I wish they'd have more colors in stock constantly, like c'mon lol. But I have two dragon figures now with wings.
It's a great part, lots of little detail. Add some paint to those details and it'll really stand out!
My Dungeons and Dragons group likes to use Lego minifigs to represent our characters and this was the best head we could find for a dragonborn character. Thanks, Brick Warriors! Great quality and the shipping was prompt. Only drawback -- wish the eyes were colored in, because we had to use Sharpie to draw them in.
I'm a fan of the design for the Dragon Heads, but I find I have several small issues with them. The single color distracts from the design. I would like to see a mix in the colors, perhaps adding white or black to the eyes and teeth to make them more pronounced. I absolutely love that you created "monster heads" and I'd love to see more designs in the future.. Even adding a little variety to the dragon head in respects to facial emotion would be a welcome change.
