The lyre may not seem like a weapon for LEGO® minifigs, but it actually is.
Step 1: Have your minifigs put their enemies to sleep by playing them a sweet little lullaby.
Step 2: Kill them.
Or your minifigures can just be civil and start an old fashioned band. Whatever works.

A nice touch for a bard, even if because of minifigure fisiology he will never be able to play that strings.
This is the only stringed instrument I've found that's not a guitar, really, and the only good piece I've found for a fantasy bard's instrument. It's got very nice details, I'm happy with it. The odd thing is that the only place a minfig can hold it is by the one end; it'd be nice if the sides were more rounded so the piece could be held vertically, but this is a minor quibble.
