LEGO MOC of the Week - Arnhem Knights by Giggs

26th Jan 2017

With our recent release of World War II themed items, it's unlocked a world of MOC's for builders to incorporate these amazing weapons, helmets, and accessories in to. Today, we take a look at the Battle of Arnhem, titled "Arnhem Knights" by creator Giggs. I highly recommend checking out the photo album for this recreation as it contains multiple angles and scenes for this build not included here. Historically, this was a win for the Germans, as the Allies operation was shaky, not accounting for the German strength and perhaps counting their chickens before they hatched, having believed beforehand that the war was coming to a close shortly thereafter. In the first photo, we see an Injured US Soldier injecting himself with a Syringe while his buddy keeps watch, outfitted with a US M1 Helmet and Rucksack as his Radio Pack lies next to him, awaiting the next command. You can see a German soldier outside in this photo, but the second photo is where you see just how many German forces are lurking. Complete with StahlhelmsGerman Stick GrenadesGerman Rifles, and guided by their German Officer with his German Officer Pistol and Crusher Cap, these Axis forces make things look bleak for the bogged down Allied forces. Incredible build, Giggs!
