If you are looking forward to the upcoming Star Wars movie, you'll appreciate this week's LEGO Gun feature. Created by Flickr user Markus Rollbühler, this weapon looks worthy of a spot in the actual film! Here's what the builder had to say about his creation:

"With the new Han Solo movie coming out next week and the coinciding contest over on RogueBricks I just had to build something with that beloved scoundrel in mind.

I felt like trying something new so rather than the usual micro scene I wondered if I could build a highly detailed version of Han's blaster, something way out of my comfort zone as I have zero experience with life-sized objects and even less experience with guns.

It was a surprisingly quick build though and came together quite nicely over the last weekend. The most difficult part was the grip as I wanted it to be dark brown, but even that was doable :) I'm quite happy with how it turned out – I hope you like it!"
