Guns may be effective. Swords may be cool. But slings, slings are old school. Like Paleolithic old school. In fact, the oldest known sling was radiocarbon dated to 2500 BC in an excavation area near Peru. Another was found in Lovelock Cave, Nevada which dated to 1200 BC. That's OLD!  A sling isn't for everyone either. They require strength, skill, and a big ol' pile of rocks. If you're minifig is looking to take down a giant, reenact an Inca battle, or just be the best outfitted character in a role playing game, the sling is just what they need. And better yet, since they come in four different colors, you can accurately match your sling to the exact time period. Watch out Goliath!
