Have you guys gotten the new Orpheus record on vinyl yet? It's a classic... today's custom LEGO minifigure is a recreation of the legendary Greek musician, brought to us by Anna Terry. Even better is that it's a depiction of Orpheus' infamous story, in which he travels to the underworld to bring his deceased wife back to life. Things didn't go so swimmingly for Orpheus, but I guess that's to be expected when you go meet and make a deal with Hades. Still, he came well equipped with his signature Lyre, a sweet toga, and a Loincloth, it just wasn't enough to bring the dead back to life. Orpheus never quite recovered from the trauma, and we may not recover from the amazement at such a fun, mythological tie-in!
