Possibly the most intimidating name for a harmless article of clothing ever. The Crusher Cap sounds daunting, but it takes its name quite literally: it's a modified version of the typical Officer Hat, removing the stiffness around the crown band of the hat to allow equipment such as headphones to be worn over the hat or allow easier movement in confined spaces. This gave the cap a "crushed" look, and viola! The Crusher Cap was born. Now, the person wearing the cap might actually be frightening, but no reason to be afraid of his hat!
