There may not be a cooler medieval weapon then a Crossbow. Similar to the standard bow and arrow, but launched from a horizontal position instead of the traditional vertical of a bow, a crossbow was easier to master and thus became a stable of medieval armies. But they couldn't do it as efficiently without a proper Crossbowman Helm. With a facial guard that extends beyond the neck and the iconic sharp point on the top of the head, Crossbowmen can deliver the pain from distance while safeguarding against retaliatory attacks. Despite this great protection, it's only effective for strikes aimed at the head... so protect your knees!
