    Much-needed!

Posted by M. Smith on 30th Jul 2019

I am so glad someone made such an awesome piece! I built a LEGO castle and decided that the LEGO anvils were awful and I needed something good for my forge. BW to the rescue! Now I have have a Minotaur in a forge thanks to BW! Also, the small hole in the end is great for placing weapons in.

    Well done, just modern

Posted by Petr Luňák on 17th May 2019

The anvil is very nicely done and fits Lego bricks well (very tightly though), also the height of the anvil, plus one full brick makes perfect height for a minifig to "work" on it. That being said, this anvil style is way too modern for any medieval or fantasy applications, it's more 19th century. Would love to see a more historical version (possibly several different ones) as well as other blacksmithing tools and accessories.

    Fits Lego well

I got two steel ones for a smithy, and 15 gold ones for a dragon's hoard. I needed gold "something" that was as cheap and bulky as possible, glad these were on sale! Also, the square hole in the side for holding something.

    Finally! Long needed!

Now THIS is something we've needed for a long time! I know of no fewer than 6 ways MOC builds for an anvil, but none of them look quite right. This fits the bill PERFECTLY!

    Must have

Thats must have for everyone owning a blacksmith. You just can't build anything like that. And on top of it, there is a small hole on the side of the anvil where you can place some item. It quite tight on the studs but it's something you rather put in one place them move all the time.

    Great design

Posted by CJCutrone on 10th Jul 2015

I bought this anvil because I was tired of my attempts at brick-built anvils not looking just right. Finally bought the anvil, and I must say, this is an incredibly nice looking piece. It's nicely modeled, and it has a really good feel to it. If you're looking for an anvil, this is definitely it.

    Nice set piece

Posted by Christopher on 6th Jul 2015

I gave this an 'average' rating not because it's poorly done, but because it's really only good as a display piece for a specific "forge area" scene. I mean, it's not exactly something a mini would be toting around on their person, like armor or a weapon. However, it's a well-crafted anvil, I say that with conviction! Also, you can't see it well in the photos, but there's a little square cut in the top of the thin end, where you can slide a hammer or weapon or other item. Nice touch.

Was Tired of making Lego Anvils

Posted by Brock Eckstein on 2nd Apr 2015

I have been wanting someone to do this for years. While it's fun to customize and anvil, for basic blacksmiths I want a basic anvil I don't have to think about, well done!
