I was surprised to find multiple grip points on the reverse side of the shield. They make for a variety of carry positions. I just wish it came in white (for storm troopers).

The design is excellent, the little details are superb, the twinned handles on the rear have cutouts to allow a bar to be placed there and the front studs are spaced ideally.
I bought this shield from Toys-R-us, along with some other galaxy enforcer pieces. I love how it has two handles: one to hold on the side, and one to hold in the front. even though the Gap on the side looks weird at first, it is actually to point a rifle through, so your little minifigure can hit with precision at his enemy without being hit.
