This staff only costs a quarter! Just kidding...maybe one day. The quarterstaff is really just great for stick fighting. And what wizard doesn't enjoy whacking a Minifigure with a stick if their spell doesn't work?

The staff is gorgeous and a great option for quarterstaff and an okay option for a magical staff. In the latter case, however, be aware that the ends are not long enough to reliably act as studs and therefore cannot have a headpiece added robustly
the detailing on this piece raises it far beyond the plain sticks available in vanilla LEGO. Also has good potential for use in detailing buildings.

I wish Lego pieces could fit on the end. Otherwise, great for our casters.
Not only is this a kick-butt looking staff as it is, but the tips can hold attachments as well, turning your weapon into more of a ceremonial staff or totem.
Quarter staffs were very common in ye old days, and for good reason. Combining their length and versatility resulted in a ferocious weapon in the hands of a master. It is a very nice item, it removes the need of having an oversize polearm while being a step up from your minifigure using a stick.... Basically it's great for the peasants!
Very cool looking simple staff! Would be nice to have a little more room at the top or bottom though to clip items on to make a wizard staff, but great basic staff!
