Halt! Who goes there? That would be the Praetorian Guard by Lordanthul as our Custom LEGO Minifigure of the Week! Let's get right in to it... check out that Scutum Shield! The shield is pretty cool as it is, but Lordanthul took it up a couple notches with his custom paint job. Goodness, that thing is an absolute beauty. But a shield only protects, so this Praetorian Guard has to have some sort of attack. Let me introduce you to the Pilum. This multi-purpose weapon allowed for ranged attacks by throwing it as a sort of javelin, or if the combat was in close quarters, to use as a melee weapon.
