Just what I was looking for.
this tripod is good for my Gatling gun , and my home made machine gun
Simple legs for a few of the guns on this site, but they also go well with any piece that fits the socket, so make them into sign posts, drone legs, landing gear, etc. Lots of uses!
This is a very plain, simple piece. However, the purpose of a tripod isn't to dazzle the enemy with incredibly intricate detailing. Rather, the purpose of a tripod is to support the tremendous weapon attached to it so that your minifigs can rip through the enemy ranks without trying to heave a massive gun across the battlefield. Thus, I believe this tripod has accomplished it's purpose quite well. A very functional piece that could also be used as a camera tripod with the right adaptive pieces.
A good addition that makes purchasing the "matching" MGs worthwhile.
It does take up some space, so not so good for gun emplacements or vehicle mounts, however it does give your figure presence.
There are limited weapons for this mount, although you can have fun building your own with regular parts.
A very functional piece.
