Now that is protection! With your whole head covered by this Sallet, the only shot that can reach flesh is directly through the eyes. At that point, you just have to respect your enemy's ability and take the loss. Tracing its origins back to Italy, the Sallet took over for helmets like the Pig Snout Bascinet in medieval times before being adopted across Europe. Its influences even extended in to more recent times, with military helmets being modeled after the Sallet due to its functionality (and timeless fashion, of course!). All that's old is new again.
