It's a finely detailed shield for fantasy figs, but I actually use it for my futuristic riot soldiers. The nob on the front allows for lots of accessories to be attached, from lights to hoses to weapons, and the entire thing feels very solid, even for a mini. You know your dude's protected behind this thing!
So here we have the pavise, a very real shield that is very large. You don't have to be an archer to enjoy this thing though, anybody in a formation would love having these things!
