Custom LEGO MOC of the Week - The Battle of Tigranocerta by Mark of Falworth

20th Aug 2015

This week's featured MOC is a depiction of an actual Roman battle fought on October 6th, 69 BC. The Battle of Tigranocerta is one of the favorite Roman battles of the MOC's creator, Mark of Falworth. Mark is a very talented LEGO artist, and if you're not already following him on Flickr and/or Facebook you should change that now. As Mark describes, the battle was fought between the forces of the Roman Republic and the army of the Kingdom of Armenia, which resulted in a crushing victory for the Romans. Depicted here is the Roman forces' leader, Consul Lucius Licinius Lucullus.

The Consul is wearing BrickWarriors Muscled Curiass, a Roman Helmet with a Roman Plume, and is carrying a Gladius.
