This week's Custom LEGO Accessory Spotlight focuses directly on a newly released item from BrickWarriors: the Kettle Helmet. No, you won't be using this to cook any meals in, but it sure will come in handy if you find yourself under siege from enemies. The wide, low brim offers extra protection for the face so your minifigures won't ruin their moneymakers, although the Kettle Helmet was considered lower in prestige in medieval times then other head protection like the Pig Snout Bascinet and Great Helmet. However, it stood the test of time, reappearing during World War I and II as a helmet for British, French, and even American troops with some modifications. So whether you're reaching back into medieval history or something a bit more recent, the Kettle Helmet will satisfy your craving. Available in black or steel in the New Releases section of the shop, make sure to grab a fellow Flamberge and Dirk to complete the Swordsman look.
