The Dark Night Rises – Batman Unmasked

If you haven’t seen The Dark Night Rises yet, you should definitely make a trip to the movies!  Thrash and I saw it the day after it came out and loved it…although Batman actually wasn’t in it that much…

Chaos Son of SoS created a fantastic minifigure this week, Batman Unmasked.  The new Vambraces look great with the Batman figure!

The First Rate Customs Minifigure Creation Challenge

There’s a category for all interests in this contest! Enter either the Sci-Fi/Apoc, Military, or Fantasy/Bronze Age category, and you’ll have a chance to win some BrickWarriors products painted by First Rate Customs!

It ends on August 25th so you have exactly one month to get building!

Custom Minifigure of the Week—Hades

Vhmh created a fantastic lord of the underworld last week.  And his interpretation of Hades is definitely terrifying.  Equipped with Boot Wings, Crescent Axe, and Invader Helmet, the custom minifigures looks very menacing.

But my favorite parts are the red skirt and the claw toes…I never would have thought of modding the BrickWarriors horns to do that!  And the LEGO head he chose was perfect…those eyes peeking through the helmet was a great devilish detail!

Post LEGO Conventions—Catching Up With BrickWarriors

After back to back weekends of LEGO conventions, Thrash and I finally had a much needed weekend off.  Although exhausting, BrickFiesta in Houston and BrickFete in Toronto were both great and we hope we get to attend next year as well!  Now we have to start gearing up for our last convention of the year…BrickFair Virginia!

During the last few weeks we have also launched some new items on our website:

Harry Potter Fans, check out ‘LEGO House’ Music Video

So I stumbled upon a music video today by Ed Sheeran called ‘Lego House’.  And Rupert Grint, Ron Weasley from Harry Potter, is in it!  The video makes it look like Rupert is singing…which is awesome of course!
