BrickWarriors is happy to announce that we are sponsoring the “Safety in Numbers” contest over at Jungle Corps on Flickr. The task is to create a squad of 3 or more members from the faction you are currently in. So make sure you join a faction first!
And the deadline is June 24th, so start building soon!
Congratulations to C. Morgenweck for becoming our newest forum moderator! And C. Morgenweck did a great job this week making the stars of The Avengers look even cooler. The R.T. Armor definitely makes Iron Man look more realistic than the printed torso from LEGO, and the boot wings add a much needed touch to Thor’s helmet.
And if you haven’t seen The Avengers movie yet, you should definitely check it out. Thrash and I saw it at the beginning of the month and we both loved it. It has a great story line, tons of action, and it was really funny too!
From the fight on the bridge to the men tunneling underground, Mark of Falworth really captured the essence of a battle scene. I especially love the flaming spears and the crazy swamp area.
Everyone has been flooding my inbox with requests for me to list the items from BrickMagic on the website, so I have done as requested and launched all of the new items, including:
-BrickWarriors T-Shirt (smalls only)
-Wood Work Sniper Sprues (random swirled colors)
-Dark Brown Gladiator Pauldrons
-Dark Brown Hooligan Hats
-Dark Brown Military Vests
-Dark Brown Ranger Helms
We have VERY limited quantities of these items, and when they are gone there are no plans to restock them.
Man, what a weekend. We started driving around noon on Thursday and successfully avoided traffic in DC and Richmond, but it was still a long 6.5 hour drive. Reading a few chapters of Game of Thrones made the drive seem a little shorter, but it was still pretty long. We had originally planned to head over to the convention and get set up Thursday night, but as it turns out, all we had energy for was a wonderful feast at the local Golden Corral.
The next morning we got up bright and early and headed over to the convention center to get our booth set up. After an hour or so of work, here was the result:
Once we were all set-up I got to meet a lot of great new people, including other vendors and the registered attendees. Everyone is so nice at these conventions…if you have a chance to go to BrickMagic next year (or any other convention), I highly recommend going.
The public days were a lot of fun too. It wasn’t quite as crowded as Brickfair AL was, so we had more of a chance to talk to everyone that stopped by the booth.
For more pictures, check out our flickr page. Thanks again to everyone who stopped by the booth! Hopefully we will see you all a year from now at BrickMagic 2013!

Sc3PTiicPr3Dz is new to Flickr, and this is his very first MOC! We wanted to give a shout out to him and let him know how great we think his custom minifig is! The paint job is definitely fantastic, especially for a first MOC, and the color combos are great…the RT Armor and LEGO helmet blend perfectly!
We can’t wait to see what he makes next!
