Bought it in the gunmetal, and it perfectly matched the spartan helmet and spartan sword I ordered in the same color. My only negative is that the handle is not the same realistic style as the riot shield (it's a simple peg sticking straight out the back). Still pretty cool, though.

I just wish the handle was changed so that the shield is more flexible to move around with the Lego. A horizontal handle would work best.
It looks awesome plus you guys even detailed the inside , but I would like to get it in a gold so it would look more like brass like in 300. Thank you

Great for the Spartan warrior to have in the battlefield.
I am using it for a different sort of character at the moment but once I get my custom Spartan done, I will give the golden shield to that character.
The shield is well designed and fits the hand quite well with little problems.
Spartans are great, and this shield looks great! But it's a little underwhelming because instead of a horizontal handle they went with a little stick handle. The little stick handle prevents an effective combat use of the shield due to lack of mobility. Sad really.
I ordered a couple of these. LOVED the front designed was excited to get it. Then I tried to put it on a mini and the stud on the back sticks straight out. So there is no way for the mini to raise it's arm, the shield stays low all the time. It's very restricting. I would recommend a handle like on the back of a Lego triangle shield so you could hold it straight out or raise the arm up to the customer!
