Electroplating?

Have you ever tried to electroplate an item? That is, molding an item, then coating it in elctromagnetic chrome (or gold or silver)? If I need to explain more, then let me know.

I have not tried electroplating anything yet, but that is definitely something I plan on exploring soon!
