Santa's Little Helper

Postby Silenced_pp7 » Wed Dec 07, 2011 7:15 pm

Santa's little helper is equipped with the most advanced Christmas technology. He's sporting two atomic snowballs, an all purpose Christmas camo AWR, and "Frosty's Nose" a blade so sharp it cuts through obsidian like butter.

When I saw those antlers last night I knew I'd be entering, I immediately had an idea and got to work on it. I put the finishing touches on this morning and was pretty happy with how it turned out.

The paint job is awesome as usual and the expression on his face is great, but what really tops this off for me is the atomic snowballs. I wouldn't have thought of it, but it makes perfect sense for Santa's Body Guard to have deadly snowballs!

Haha, you only need to hide if you're on the naughty list.

Thank you Thrash, I think the head is from one of the ninjago sets, but I'm not sure. The RT Armor is much more of a challenge to paint compared to the Horned Armor and I knew I wanted to incorporate a snowball for this guy, so the atomic snowball seemed fitting.

The holiday colors on the RT armor are really cool :) I like the small details like the snowballs. Very cool!

This is great. I'm laughing and frightened of him at the same time. :D

This is pretty good, puts me to mind to seriously consider future projects with painting minifigures.
