It would be foolish for a gladiator to go into the arena without wearing arm guards. A gladiator can't do much damage if he loses his arms, now can he?
To make them even better, your minifigure can get even more protection by adding our retiarius galerus or scaled galerus!

My only concern was that it bumped into the hair piece I was using, but there is a little play in the wrist so it still worked. Great fit and great look
These guards are pretty nifty! I read other reviews and I didn't have the problem of them coming loose others did, don't know why. I want to use this review to give BW a huge thumbs up for customer service. I wanted them in brown, so I emailed them about it. I got a very prompt response, and they made the limited supply of brown they had available for purchase in just a few hours! My only issue with these accesories is that I didn't see any note that to use the shoulder armor, you needed to buy arm guards. But thats not a product issue so much as a general communication issue. Very happy with these parts!
I really like the look of these arm guards, but I've found they don't stay on the mini-figure's arms securely. This is something that would be used for display only, as the slightest jostle, will knock the arm guards off the shoulder. But again, they look awesome.
Note from BW: To clarify, the arm guards won't fall off the arm, but if bumped they might not sit flush on the arm until they are pushed back.
I love these and I love the idea. I am having some issues though keeping them on the mini's arms especially when I attach a shoulder pad. I went on bricklink though and ordered some extra arms and put a bit of glue on them both. Now when a character buys these, I simply swap out the entire arm and I have no issues. More colors please!
A must have for your gladiator minifigs.
Very neat design, i was impressed how sturdy they were and how well the shoulder plates stay in place. Gave it a 4 out of 5 because of the lack of colors available.
